Jameson Scott Parker, 38, of Washington Court in Concord was arrested at 12:18 a.m. on July 2 on a felony sex offender registration; provide false information charge. Police attempted several times to confirm Parker’s residency, to no avail, and began an investigation, according to an affidavit. He was required to register with police due to a lewd and lascivious conduct conviction in Vermont. The reporting detective wrote that Parker’s most recent registration was in mid-March, and during nine stop checks at his home, he “was not located at his residence.” Prior registrations were checked, including one from 2019, which said he resided on Depot Street. “Based on Parker’s non-compliance in the past, I opted to review his registrations and previous and current employers to confirm the information he provided on his registrations was accurate,” the detective wrote. Seven reports were checked, according to an affidavit. In late May, the detective reached out to an employee at a restaurant downtown to check if Parker had been working there when he said he had not since 2019, the report stated. However, the employee said Parker had worked there in 2021 for a total of 704 hours during a six-month period, according to the report. A warrant was then issued against Parker.
