Missing Concord Couple’s ‘Disappearance Is Of Significant Concern’
Crimeline Alert Update: Djeswende and Stephen Reid were last seen by family Sunday; Stephen missed an event Tuesday; have you seen them?

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing couple from the capital city.
Djeswende P. “Wende” Reid, 66, and Stephen L. Reid, 67, both of Concord were last heard from by family members on April 18. They were reported missing on Wednesday after Stephen Reid did not arrive for a planned event. Family members saw them both on Sunday and communicated with them on Monday.

Det. Lt. Marc P. McGonagle of the Concord Police Department said both of their vehicles were parked in their usual places at their apartment, they have no known medical history or domestic violence, and are not known to own firearms.

“They are avid outdoors people and are known to take frequent walks along the trails near their Concord residence,” he said. “Their absence and lack of communication with family-friends are uncharacteristic, and their disappearance is of significant concern.”

Tips can also be submitted online through the Crimeline website at concordregionalcrimeline.com or via text message TIP234 and your message to CRIMES (274637).
