NH State Police to Hold Sobriety Checkpoint
The checkpoint will occur sometime between June 12, and June 19.

CONCORD, NH - The New Hampshire State Police were granted by Superior Court Order the ability to hold a Sobriety Checkpoint during the week of June 12, and June 19, 2016, according to a press statement.
"The Sobriety Checkpoint is an effective method of detecting and apprehending impaired drivers," according to Sgt. Victor G. Muzzey of the NHSP. "A review of records has shown that the use of alcohol by individuals who operate motor vehicles has resulted in a consistent number of deaths and personal injury accidents."
The checkpoint will be held in New Hampton by Troop F and the New Hampton Police.
