Two from Concord Arrested During Operation Granite Hammer in Tilton

Report: Christopher Engelhardt and Keirsten Gadwah were arrested on warrants on Friday. Both have priors around Merrimack County.

TILTON, NH — Operation Granite Hammer was activated in Tilton yesterday and two with connections to previous Concord crimes were arrested on warrants. Christopher Engelhardt, 23, was arrested on Feb. 17, 2017, on a no bail warrant out of Merrimack County, while Keirsten Gadwah, 21, was arrested on several warrant from multiple agencies.

According to police in Tilton, the operation was part of an effort to strike at the distribution of illegal narcotics in that community. More charges, the department noted, are forthcoming.

Engelhardt, according to numerous arrests and indictments, is no stranger to crime in Concord and Merrimack County.

Back in October 2016, he was arrested for driving after revocation or suspension and conspiracy to commit, for his alleged role in the robbery of the Walgreens on Loudon Road in Concord in May of that year. He was indicted in January.

In May 2016, he was arrested in Franklin on a probation violation as well as resisting arrest and criminal trespass. In April, he was arrested for driving after revocation.

Engelhardt was arrested in May 2015 for criminal threatening (use of deadly weapon) and reckless conduct; place another in danger, both felonies, as well as three counts of criminal mischief, simple assault, resisting arrest or detention, and three warrants, after a crash on Sheep Davis Road.

In November 2014, he was arrested on three bench warrants: speeding out of Franklin District Court on Oct. 14, 2014, $795 cash to settle; false report to law enforcement at Hooksett District Court from Nov. 18, 2014; and organized retail crime enterprise, a felony, from Concord District Court, $5,000 cash bail. In August, he was charged with felony organized retail crime enterprise, disobeying an officer, and driving after revocation or suspension.

Engelhardt was arrested in February 2014, after an alleged domestic incident on South State Street.

He was arrested again in November 2012, for conduct after an accident and breach of bail after an incident on Hall Street.

In October 2012, he was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, conspiracy to commit, default or breach of bail conditions, and a bench warrant, after allegedly stealing baseball and lacrosse gloves at Walmart.

Gadwah was arrested on Nov. 3, 2016, for willful concealment in Gilford. She was arrested by New Hampshire State Police for DUI in June 2016 after a traffic stop on Route 11.

In October 2012, she was cited for unlawful possession of alcohol, as well as May on an alcohol charge, and August on a simple assault charge and false report to an officer.
