Nashua Crime Sweeps 2017: 110 Arrests

Nashua police have conducted 19 crime sweeps so far in 2017, netting 110 arrests. Most involve alleged drug crimes.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police have conducted 19 crime sweeps so far this year, resulting in 110 arrests — mostly for alleged drug-related crimes. The last sweep was conducted last week and netted four suspects charged with crimes involving heroin and marijuana. About half the sweeps were conducted under the "Granite Hammer" program, a collaboration between New Hampshire police agencies and the FBI targeting drug distribution — especially involving opioids.
