Nashua Drug Sweep Nets 7 Arrests

Nashua police on Friday said they arrested seven suspects in "Operation Granite Shield."

NASHUA, NH — Seven suspects were arrested in a Nashua drug sweep this week, police announced Friday. The suspects were arrested Thursday and charged with crimes allegedly involving heroin, cocaine and ecstasy, among other drugs. Police said the arrests were part of a drug enforcement initiative named "Operation Granite Shield."

It was the 20th drug sweep in Nashua so far this year. A total of 117 suspects have been arrested in those sweeps. The latest sweep resulted in "individuals ... arrested for various drug crimes, and various crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity," Nashua police Lt. The seven suspects arrested Thursday were identified as:

Brandon Callahan, 36, of Nashua, charged with two counts of selling fentanyl (second offense) and held on $50,000 bail.

Hector Rodriguez, 24, of Nashua, was charged with selling cocaine (second offense) and held on $25,000 bail.

John Panos, 37, of Nashua, was charged with four selling cocaine, cocaine possession, MDMA possession and marijuana possession with intent to distribute. He was held on $100,000 bail.

Christopher Hayes, 36, of Nashua, was charged with selling cocaine (second offense) and refused bail.

Joshua Vandal, 31, of Nashua, was charged with cocaine possession and held on $5,000 bail.

Michael Come, 26, Nashua, was arrested on a capias related to a drug possession case and held without bail.

Danielle Marshall, 27, of Hudson, was charged with three counts of selling heroin and held on $50,000 bail.

All suspects will be arraigned Friday in Nashua District Court. Kenney said anyone with information about illegal drug activity in the city should contact the Nashua police narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
