Nashua Man Indicted On Knife Threat Charge: Superior Court Roundup

Newburyport man indicted on child assault charge; Hudson man indicted on strangulation charge; perp with priors indicted on drug charges.

NASHUA, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Jack Rogers, 64, of Temple Street in Nashua, on a felony criminal threatening charge. He was accused of brandishing a knife and saying, “If I don’t get my car back, I’m going to stab you,” or words to that effect on Sept. 19, 2024, in Nashua.

Joseph Martinez Roig, 27, of Burns Hill Road in Hudson, on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling another person in Hudson on Oct. 5, 2024.

Miguel Saez, 60, of Temple Street in Nashua, on theft by unauthorized taking and three controlled drug act; acts prohibited, fentanyl and buprenorphine, charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing the drugs on April 6, 2024, in Nashua. Saez was accused of stealing a Kitten Starter Kit on Aug. 27, 2024, in Nashua. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted on willful concealment, theft, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Saez was previously convicted on drug offenses in Hillsborough County Superior Court South and Rockingham County Superior Court, according to the indictment.

Juan Santos, 34, of Beech Street in Nashua, on a felony burglary charge. He was accused of entering an apartment on Burns Hill Road in Hudson, at night, on April 3, 2024.

Xavier Simonini, 29, of Golden Drive in Newburyport, Massachusetts, on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of grabbing the back of a child’s neck and hitting his head on a wooden porch, causing a forehead hematoma on June 8, 2024, in Nashua.
