Nashua Police Make Arrest in 5-Month-Old Murder Case
Craig Guillemette, 46, was assaulted Nov. 29, 2014 and died a few days later.

Nashua police announced an arrest in the murder of a Nashua man in November 2014.
Thomas Smith, 32, of Lowell, Mass., was arrested Monday and charged with second-degree murder.
Police said he beat Craig Guillemette, 46, downtown on Nov. 29, 2014 and threw him down a flight of stairs. Guillemette was later found in an apartment on Lowell Street. He was hospitalized and pronounced dead a few days later.

Before the beating, Guillemette was walking near the city’s annual Winter Holiday Stroll, police said.
Smith is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
