Derry Man Indicted On Attempted Murder, Rape Charges: Rockingham County Court Roundup
Derry man indicted on rape, strangulation charges; Windham man indicted on child sexual assault charges; Salem thief indicted on 2 charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.
Rachel Marie Abrahams, 32, of Emerys Bridge Road in South Berwick, Maine, on felony possession of controlled drug charges, alprazolam, fentanyl, and methadone, all felonies, on May 5, 2023, in Seabrook.
Dominic Anthony Abreu, 43, of Oak Street in Derry on two felony sex offender-duty to inform charges. He was accused of failing to register a new address and quarterly with Derry police between Nov. 16 and Dec. 5, 2023.

Michael Adams, 45, of Nottingham Road in Raymond on tampering with witnesses and informants and two sex offender-duty to inform charges, all felonies. He was accused of texting another person on Sept. 29, 2023, in North Hampton and asking them to tell a detective he was living with them in July. Adams was also accused of failing to register his change of address and change of employment with North Hampton police between Aug. 8 and Sept. 28, 2023.
Jesse Shaw Aiken, 42, of Passaconway Road in Ossipee on possession of methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl charges, both felonies, on March 13, 2023, in Epping.

Alexander Stephan Allard, 27, of Amherst Street in Nashua on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing property from Lowe’s in Epping on Aug. 28, 2023, after twice before being convicted on theft charges.
Jorge Mauras Alvarado, 45, of North Main Street in Salem on two felony accomplice theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of being aided by another to steal merchandise from Victoria’s Secret after twice being convicted of theft on July 20, 2023.
Brian J. Hardwick, 35, of Munroe Street in Franklin on a felony possession of crack cocaine charge in Salem on Sept. 19, 2023.
Amanda Nicole Hartford, 33, of Wentworth Street in Manchester on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart in Salem on Aug. 1, 2023, after twice before being convicted on theft charges.
Timothy Hefferon, 37, of Gonic Road in Rochester on a felony driving while being certified as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Route 125 in Epping on Sept. 11, 2023, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
Brent Leonard Herter, 44, of Good Hope Drive in Flowery Branch, Georgia, on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling another person in Portsmouth on Sept. 1, 2023.
Joshua K. Hicks, 34, of Drew Woods Drive in Derry on criminal restraint, attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault-domestic violence, second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence, and two aggravated felonious sexual assault-domestic violence charges, all felonies, as well as two domestic violence-simple assault charges. He was accused of strangling, attempting to rape, and raping an intimate partner on Sept. 30, 2023, in Derry. The assault charges involved grabbing a wrist and legs on Sept. 30 and Oct. 4, 2023, the indictment stated.
Jack Joseph Higginbottom, 26, of Range Road in Windham on felonious sexual assault and 11 aggravated felonious sexual assault felony counts, as well as two sexual assault charges. He was accused of fondling two children and having the children fondle him between Jan. 23, 2007, and Jan. 22, 2016, in Windham.
Keisha Hobbs, 31, of Tengren Avenue in Claremont on a felony driving while being certified as a habitual offender charge. She was accused of driving on Lafayette Road in Hampton on June 1, 2023, after being certified a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
Christopher D. Huppe, 41, of Goodhue Road in Derry on attempted second-degree murder, second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence, two second-degree assault-domestic violence, and four aggravated felonious sexual assault-domestic violence charges, all felonies. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner and stomping on her head numerous times, assaulting her, causing severe injury, and sexually assaulting and raping her between Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, 2023, in Derry.
