Maine Teen Indicted On Portsmouth Rape Charges: Superior Court Roundup

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Edwin Alfredo Delacruz, 28, of Massachusetts Avenue in North Andover, Massachusetts, on theft by deception and two receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. He was accused of selling nine cellphones he knew to be stolen from Comcast-Xfinity to EcoATM LLC between July 21 and Aug. 4, 2023, in Salem.

Benjamin Raymond Dentino, 21, of New Road in Newmarket, on receiving stolen property and theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of retaining a stolen 2014 Cadillac XTS between Dec. 20 and Dec. 21, 2024, and a 2007 Kawaski motorcycle on Dec. 20, 2024, in Newmarket.

Christopher Leon Descavich, 47, of M Street in Hampton, on two burglary and two theft by unauthorized taking charges. He worked in concert with or aided by Vincent Francis Pardini Jr. and-or Michael Anthony Centeno to burglarize the L Street Tavern in Hampton on Sept. 17, 2023, removing more than $1,500 in cash from a safe, according to the indictments.

Ashleigh Durant, 35, of Lafayette Road in Hampton Falls, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing merchandise from the New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet in Seabrook on Aug. 20, 2024. Twice before, Durant was convicted on theft charges, according to the indictment.

Mark E. Frenette Jr., 33, of Deerwood Drive in Merrimack, on two felonious sexual assault and nine aggravated felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of touching and fondling a girl with his hands and penis a girl between Aug. 10, 2004, and Aug. 9, 2008, in Hampstead. Frenette was also accused of fondling another child between Aug. 5, 2005, and Aug. 4, 2007, in Hampstead.

Stephen Laplante, 37, of Cherry Street in Milford, on a felony possession of fentanyl charge on Feb. 27, 2024, in Windham.

Frances Lara, 45, of Franklin Street in Lynn, Massachusetts, on forgery and attempted theft by deception charges. She was accused of writing a check for $2,179.55 drawn on the account of Corcoran Brothers Rentals LLC in Portsmouth on Sept. 12, 2024, without the owner’s knowledge.

Karen L. Lemay, 46, of County Farm Road in Dover, on possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possession of fentanyl with intent to sell charges, both felonies. She worked in concert with Christopher Grant to possess more than 5 grams of fentanyl and less than 1 ounce of meth on July 13, 2024, in Portsmouth, according to the indictments.

Logan Brice Libby, 19, of Yvonne Street in Sanford, Maine, on four felony counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and two simple assault charges. He was accused of raping and fondling a woman between May 4 and May 5, 2024, in Portsmouth.

Christopher Donald Lowe, 32, of Joan Avenue in Portsmouth, on a felony escape charge. He was accused of failing to report to a court-ordered treatment plan on June 3, 2024, in Brentwood.

Alexio Marquez, 27, of Gold Street in Lowell, MA, on a felony riot charge and two simple assault counts. He and two other people assaulted others at Water Country in Portsmouth on Aug. 7, 2021, according to the indictments.

Robert Marr, 23, of Lafayette Road in Salisbury, MA, on a felony aggravated felonious sexual assault count and three misdemeanor sexual assault charges. He was accused of raping, fondling, and kissing a girl between May 1 and May 31, 2021, in Seabrook and having the girl touch him, the indictments said.
