Brentwood Man Indicted In Knife Attack Case: Rockingham County Superior Court Roundup

Dover man indicted on meth, fentanyl sale charges; NY woman faces ID fraud charge; Londonderry man indicted for kicking police officers.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Michael John Alarie, 26, of New Durham Road in Middletown, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of using a forklift to move a pallet of copper wire into the bed of his pickup truck and stealing it from SubCom in Newington on Oct. 12, 2024.

Layla Ashley Battle, 21, of Snediker Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, on a felony identity fraud charge. She was accused of using another person’s passport to try and create a credit union account in Newington on July 16, 2024.

Frank M. Biener, 50, of Main Street in South Berwick, Maine, on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge on Oct. 17, 2024, in Epping.

Raymond Dale Blanton, 40, of Middle Road in Brentwood, on criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon-domestic violence, falsifying physical evidence, second-degree-domestic violence, and tampering with witnesses and informants charges, all felonies. He was accused of stabbing and threatening a woman on Dec. 29, 2024, in Brentwood. Blanton also threw bloody pants and-or towels or gauze covered in blood into a trash can to impair an investigation, the indictment said. On Jan. 2, he was accused of telling the victim she needed to change her story or words to that effect.

Kimberly Marie Bousquet, 37, of Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen, on a felony theft of services charge. She was accused of obtaining more than $1,500 worth of board and services from the Lake Shore Farm Inn in Northwood and failing to pay on April 26, 2024.

Tyler D. Fernald, 29, of Leonard Street in Rochester, on a felony possession of amphetamine charge on Oct. 28, 2024, in Epping.

Jeffrey Robert Gagne, 38, of Dewey Street in Manchester, on a felony driving after certification as a habitual offender charge on June 28, 2024, on Route 101 in Exeter, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Shawn Richard Gardner, 45, of Heron Drive in Londonderry, on two counts of simple assault-extended term of imprisonment. He was accused of kicking one police officer in the leg and another in the groin on Dec. 22, 2024, in Londonderry.

Christopher Grant, 39, of New Rochester Road in Dover, on possession of fentanyl with intent to sell and possession of meth with intent to sell charges, both felonies. He acted in concert with or was aided by Karen Lemay on July 13, 2024, to sell, distribute, or dispense the drug in Portsmouth, according to the indictments.

Ashley Susan Gustafson, 36, of Lafayette Street in Rochester, on accomplice escape and conspiracy escape charges, both felonies. According to the indictments, she drove John Pownall away from Exeter Hospital, where he was required to stay, as part of a bail order out of Portsmouth District Court, on Nov. 27, 2024.

Benjamin Francis Halpin, 39, of North Main Street in Salem, on felony attempted criminal threatening with a deadly weapon charge as well as stalking. He was accused of brandishing loaded firearms while driving a boat near a protected party’s home in Salem on Sept. 18, 2024.

Killy M. Hasu, 33, of Clinton Street in Milford, on a felony possession of fentanyl charge. She was acting in concert with or aided by Stephen Laplante on Feb. 27, 2024, in Windham, according to the indictment.

Nathan Allen Holmes, 40, of Main Street in Kingston, on a felony driving while being certified as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Interstate 93 in Londonderry on Nov. 27, 2024, after being deemed a habitual offender.
