By importing 1.1 million cubic yards of sand and rebuilding the Baywalk, Keansburg successfully restored what Sandy destroyed in 2012.
If you want to donate, you are asked to drop off items next Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire house at 601 Newman Springs.
"There are some days she can barely make it home, she's so tired. Not many understand the amount of work it is caring for COVID patients."
This Point Pleasant woman said her personal COVID-19 hero is her sister, a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Lincroft Fire Company.
