Gas Line Leak Prompts Valley Stream Road Closure

Nassau County Police announced they shuttered part of Merrick Road in Valley Stream Wednesday morning.

Officials ordered the closure as crews secured a gas line leak on Merrick Road, police said.

Merrick Road was closed between South Terrace Place and North Central Avenue, cops said.

Police will update as roads are reopened.
