Congratulations to Garden City High School seniors Michael Crapotta and Kerri Heuser for being named the Class of 2015 Valedictorian and Salutatorian, respectively.
Michael, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Crapotta, achieved a high school career GPA of 101.05. Michael will present his Valedictorian’s speech at the June 27th Commencement Ceremony. He has been active as a member of Garden City’s varsity football team where he played as a linebacker, and was a member of the high school’s Chamber Choir and Wind Ensemble. He is currently choosing his college at which he plans to pursue financial engineering, a field that combines his interest in calculus and business.
As Salutatorian, Kerri will also present a speech at the Class of 2015 Commencement Ceremony. She achieved a high school career GPA of 100.11. Kerri, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Heuser, was a member of the Miracle Club and competed as a member of the varsity swim team and the Lady Trojan cheerleaders. She will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall to study engineering.
