Police: Greenport Resident Comes Home to 3 People Smoking Pot Inside
The three people entered the home through an unlocked window, police say.

A Greenport man was arrested after entering a home through an unlocked window and smoking marijuana in the residence on Thursday night, according to Southold Town Police.
Daniel Commins, 21, and two other people, entered the home on Corwin Street around 11:26 p.m. and smoked marijuana until the homeowner came home unexpectedly, police said.
The other two people fled, but the homeowner detained Commins until the police arrived, according to police.

He was arrested for second degree criminal trespass, police said.
He was transported to headquarters for processing and released on $100 cash bail.
