18-Year-Old Shot In Hand At Mount Vernon Night Club
An 18-year-old was shot at a Mount Vernon nightclub and more in the Fairfax County crime recap.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- An 18-year-old woman was shot in the hand near the Club One, a night club at the 8700 block of Richmond Highway in Mount Vernon Friday night.
Around 11:20 p.m., police responded to a report of gun shots. Police determined several rounds were shot in or near a parking lot. The victim was shot in the hand, while at least eight cars were struck. She was in one of the cars during the incident.

The victim went to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. The investigation continues but police believe the incident resulted from an argument.

Burglary: 2900 block of Southgate Drive (Jiffy Lube), 5/20/17 around 12:45 a.m. An investigation determined a man forced entry through a door and took money. The suspect was described as black, wearing dark-colored clothing.
Suspicious Incident: 7200 block of Highland Street, 5/21/17 around 9:52 p.m. An investigation determined a man was peering into a 15-year-old girl’s bedroom window. The suspect was described as black, between 29 and 34 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 160 pounds.
