3 Injured In Hybla Valley Mobile Home Fire
The three residents lost their home in the fire. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
HYBLA VALLEY, VA—Three people were injured and lost their mobile home in a fire last Friday, Nov. 17.
Around 1:12 a.m. firefighters responded to the mobile home fire in the 7800 block of Eagle Avenue. The home had been almost completely engulfed in the fire.
Fire officials say one resident was burned while trying to extinguish the fire. He was taken to a local burn center for treatment. Two other residents had minor injuries.

A resident discovered the fire after waking up and smelling smoke. They encountered the fire in the living room and left before the smoke alarm had sounded.
Fire investigators say the fire started in the living room but the cause remains under investigation.

Damages are about $25,000. The residents have accepted Red Cross assistance.
