5-Year-Old Girl Sexually Assaulted In Fairfax County: Police

BREAKING: Police believe a five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a stranger in Fairfax County.

(Updated 5:30 p.m.) FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA—A five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in the Groveton area of Fairfax County Sunday evening, police believe.

The incident occurred in the 6700 block of Tower Drive around 5 p.m., police say. A family member noticed the girl missing, and the girl reported what happened. Police are gathering information on the suspect, who is described as a Hispanic male. Detectives continue to investigate.
