Alexandria Man Caught Stealing From Cars: Police
Officers found stolen items on the man when they confronted him in Lincolnia.
Fairfax County Police caught an Alexandria man breaking into cars west of the city in Lincolnia Thursday night.
Around 11:15 p.m. a resident reported the break-ins in the 4900 block of Fran Place. The suspect was allegedly trying to open car doors in a parking lot. Officers found the man with stolen items. He dropped the items and fled when police arrived, but he was ultimately caught.
Ruddy Machado, 26, of Alexandria, was charged with grand larceny.
