Armed Robberies Reported At Hybla Valley Home, CVS
The armed robbery in the residential area involved drugs and did not appear to be random.

Police are investigating two separate armed robberies in the Hybla Valley area around the weekend.
The first happened Friday around 1:10 p.m. at CVS (3117 Lockheed Boulevard). Police say an armed man entered displaying a gun and demanded money. He left with the money, and no one was injured. The suspect is described as a black man with short black hair and a goatee.
The other happened Sunday at a home in the 7500 block of Milway Drive. and does not appear to be random. Around 7:25 p.m., the suspect entered the home with a weapon and stole property. Police say it was a drug-related incident and the two knew each other.

Arrests has not been announced for either incident.

Robbery: 3701 Lockheed Boulevard (Huntley Meadows Park), 2/23/18 around 4:15 p.m.
A community member was at Huntley Meadows Park and grabbed from behind in an attempted robbery. Jose Ines Cabellero Morales, 21, of no fixed address, was identified and arrested.
DWI/Traffic Pursuit: Audubon Avenue / Pelican Place, 2/23/18 at 11:55 p.m. An officer observed a traffic infraction and attempted to stop a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and drove a short distance before stopping. The driver, Victor Geovani Contreras Perez, 38, of Alexandria, was charged with DWI – 2nd in ten years, providing false identification, and multiple traffic charges.
