Driver Hits Tree With Stolen Vehicle In Hybla Valley: Police
Police charged a juvenile for the incident involving a stolen vehicle. Plus see other major weekend incidents in the Mount Vernon district.
HYBLA VALLEY, VA — A juvenile was arrested and charged for a crash involving a stolen vehicle Sunday in Hybla Valley, according to Fairfax County Police.
The incident was reported around 8:01 a.m. in the 8000 block of Fordson Road. Officers were called to the area for a vehicle that hit a tree. The driver reportedly fled from the scene, and officers located the driver close by. Police allege the 2019 Toyota C-HR involved in the crash was stolen.
The juvenile was charged with auto theft, DWI, refusal, hit and run, driving without a license and underage possession of tobacco.

Commercial Burglary: 7910 Richmond Highway (Walmart), 2/21/20, 4:52 a.m. Employees confronted two males who had broken into the store. The males ran away and nothing appeared to have been stolen. The suspects were described as black and in their mid-late teens.
Burglary: 3500 block of Lady Anne Court, 2/23/20, 4:01 a.m. Officers were in the area for two men who were pulling on car door handles. Officers then saw two men nearby run out of an open garage. Nothing appeared to have been stolen. The men were described as black and wearing dark clothing.
