Driver Leads Officers on Chase Friday Night: Police
Suspect faces multiple charges, police say.

Fairfax County Police say a driver led them on a chase Friday night in the Mount Vernon area after police say he disregarded the officer’s signal to stop.
The incident unfolded near Buckman Road and Janna Lee Avenue, Friday at about 11:41 p.m., police said. An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on Buckman Road near Janna Lee Avenue.
Police say the driver of the vehicle disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and continued to travel on Buckman Road, attempting to elude the officer. The officer conducted the Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT), and the vehicle was safely stopped with the assistance of other officers.

The driver was arrested and did not require medical assistance. Ervin R. Pabon, 25, of Stafford, was charged with felony speed to elude, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, disregarding a traffic signal, and expired state inspection.
