He's facing multiple charges, including possession of suspected PCP, say Fairfax County police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A Maryland man was taken to the county jail Wednesday evening after he became unruly at a check cashing store and attacked police officers who responded to the scene, according to the Fairfax County police.

Quentin McNair, 34, of Suitland, MD, was charged with disorderly conduct, being drunk in public, possession of suspected PCP, felony destruction of property (for kicking and damaging a police car) and two counts of assault on law enforcement, according to the police.

Officers responded at 5:59 p.m. Wednesday to the report of a man waving a gun around in the check cashing store, in the 7300 block of Richmond Highway (Route 1) near Lockheed Boulevard.

They located McNair, "who appeared to be extremely intoxicated and possibly under the influence of an unknown narcotic," the police said. They arrested him, but he became combative, kicking the officers and spitting and urinating on them.

The officers took McNair to the Adult Detention Center in Fairfax City, where he was charged.
