Juveniles at Mount Eagle Park Face Drug, Assault Charges: Police

Police said the two became combative with the officers after exiting a car.

Police say two juveniles are facing several charges after an incident that took place Wednesday night at Mount Eagle Park.

Police say the two — a boy and a girl — were parked in a car at the park, located at 5991 North Kings Highway, at about 6:45 p.m. Two officers were investigating what they said was a suspicious vehicle in the park.

The odor of burning marijuana could be detected, coming from inside the car, police said. The officers asked the two juvenile occupants, one male, one female, to exit the car. They did so and then became combative with the officers, according to Fairfax County Police.
