Man Shot Multiple Times In Mount Vernon Area
Police found 21 shell casings from a gun on the ground where a man was shot in Mount Vernon.
MOUNT VERNON, VA—A man suffered multiple wounds in a Mount Vernon shooting Monday night, police say.
Around 10 p.m., the victim was walking in the 8000 block of Janna Lee Avenue when he was shot. Witnesses reported shots being fired and a white vehicle, possibly an Infiniti, leaving the area.
Police found and gave medical assistance to the victim, who was shot multiple times. The victim was taken to the hospital.
