Man Squats In Vacant Groveton Apartment Being Shown
Prospective residents had an unwelcome surprise when a man was found crashing in a vacant Groveton apartment.

GROVETON, VA—A man was arrested and charged after squatting in an apartment overnight Tuesday.
Around 10 a.m. Tuesday, staff at Beacon Hill Apartments were about show a vacant unit to prospective residents when they found the door closed with an interior chain lock.

The man admitted to staying overnight. A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with unlawful entry.
