Pizza Delivery Driver Ambushed By Group Of Robbers

MOUNT VERNON, VA—A Monday pizza delivery escalated into a robbery in which the driver was way outnumbered by robbers.

Around 7 p.m., the delivery driver was on the job when approached by six or seven men in the 7900 block of Janna Lee Avenue. One man grabbed the delivery man and held him while the other men went through his pockets and took personal items and cash. The victim was not injured.

Police do not have suspect descriptions other than all of them were between 18 to 22 years old. The investigation continues.
