Pizza Delivery Driver Held Up at Knifepoint, Police Say

Incident took place late Monday night in the Mount Vernon area. Police say the suspect was wearing a skull cap and sweat pants.

Fairfax County Police say that a pizza delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint Monday night.

The incident took place Monday at about 11:43 p.m. in the 8600 block of Village Square Drive. The area is between Richmond Highway and Pole Road.

Police say the pizza delivery driver was approached by a man. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money, according to police. The suspect took cash and fled, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male, 18-22 years old, wearing a dark colored tank top, dark colored sweat pants and a skull cap.
