Police Apprehend Armed Robbery Suspect Wednesday Afternoon in Hybla Valley
Suspect Jaime Granados, 21, fled on bicycle after he robbed one person and attempted to assault and rob another, according to police.

The quick actions by patrol officers in the Mount Vernon police district led to the arrest of a man who reportedly attempted to assault and rob one person then robbed another in a matter of minutes, according to a news release from Fairfax County Police.
Police were initially called to a parking lot in the 7700 block of Richmond Highway, the Mount Vernon Plaza Shopping Center, around 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday for a fight, according to police. Officers determined a 24-year-old man was approached by another man who asked for money, police said.
