Police Establish New Guidelines for In-Car Video Program

The Fairfax County Police Department is releasing newly established guidelines for its in-car video program: General Order 430.8, In-Car Video Program.

This publicly accessible document is part of FCPD’s ongoing effort to share policies with the community.

In January 2015, the Fairfax County Police Department released a video, on YouTube, titled Police Cruisers Equipped with Video Capability. This video provides comprehensive insight to the community about our in-car video program (watch the video below).
