Police Report Three Area Robberies Tuesday

All of those who were robbed were pedestrians, police said.

Fairfax County Police report there were three robberies in the area on Tuesday, according to the crime report released today:

  • ROBBERY, 8400 block of Richmond Highway, 09/15/15 at about 1:28 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by a man from behind. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground, took cash and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as black, 30s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet 1 inches tall, and wearing dark clothing.
  • ROBBERY, Blaine Drive/Huntington Avenue, 09/15/15 at about 10:10 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by three men. The suspects assaulted the victim, took property and fled. The victim did not require medical attention.
  • ROBBERY, Fort Hunt Drive/North Kings Highway, 09/15/15 at about 12:48 a.m. The victim was walking and was approached from behind by two men. The suspects assaulted the victim, took property and fled. The victim incurred non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects were described as two males of unknown race, between 18 and 25 years of age and wearing dark clothing.
