Police: Missing Autistic Teen Found Safe

16-year-old had last been seen early Monday afternoon in Alexandria area, according to Fairfax County Police. He was located before 10 p.m.

GREATER ALEXANDRIA, VA — An autistic teen reported missing earlier Monday night was found safe shortly before 10 p.m., according to Fairfax County Police.

The 16-year-old was found in the 5500 block of Franconia Road shortly before 10 p.m. He was fine and officers were in the process of reuniting him with his family, according to a police statement.

He had last been seen at 12:30 p.m. Monday in the area of the 6300 block of Lachine Lane in the Alexandria area.
