Police Searching for Robber Who Held Up Store
He fled the scene after grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash, say Fairfax County police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Fairfax County police are looking for an unidentified man who robbed a store Saturday night on Richmond Highway (Route 1) in the Alexandria area.
The robbery occurred at about 8 p.m. at 6233 Richmond Highway, near the intersection with Kings Highway south of the city. A man entered the store and displayed a handgun, demanded money and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, the police said in a report.
The robber is described by police as white, with a thin build, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a yellow beard. He was wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and black gloves, and his face was covered.
