Police Search for 'Suspicious Teens' Near West Potomac High

Fairfax County Police said in a post to social media Tuesday shortly before 12 noon that they were on the lookout for “suspicious teens” in the area of West Potomac High School (see message below).

The school is located at 6500 Quander Road (see map below).

Shortly after 12 noon, police said in response to a question on Twitter that a passerby had notified police and that they had not seen anyone suspicious. No word on whether they are still searching the area.

No word on why the teens appeared suspicious. There was no further information communicated by police Tuesday about the search.
