Resident Awakens to Two Burglars in Home: Police

Fairfax County Police report that a local resident awoke early Sunday to two burglars in his home.

The incident, in the 7200 block of Fairchild Drive (see map below) took place Sunday at about 1 a.m., police said. The neighborhood is off of Hollyhill Road, near Richmond Highway.

That’s when the victim awoke to find two unknown men in his apartment, apparently attempting to steal his TV, police said.

The victim confronted them and they left the TV, police said. One suspect was tentatively identified, police said; the investigation continues, police report.

No description of the suspects was released by police.
