Sexual Assault In Fort Hunt Park Under Investigation
The suspect had fled when U.S. Park Police got to the park.
FORT HUNT, VA—U.S. Park Police are investigating a sexual assault at Fort Hunt Park Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the park around 9:30 a.m., WTOP reported. The suspect had already fled when police got there. The suspect was not immediately found during a search of the area.
Initial investigations show the suspect and victim may be acquainted. No suspect description was released.
