Suspect Crashes Into Car in Police Pursuit
FCPD charged teen with disregarding police signal to stop, felony hit and run and possession of marijuana.

A suspect being chased by Fairfax County Police crashed into a car Friday night on Richmond Highway, according to FCPD.
The crash took place Friday night at about 11:32 p.m.
Police attempted to stop the driver, who “fled onto Richmond Highway.” Police did not say where the chase began or what prompted police to stop the car in the first place.

Officers pursued the vehicle and the driver struck another vehicle. FCPD did not say how much damage the vehicles sustained or if anyone was injured.
Officers managed to stop the suspect vehicle on Glassell Court and arrested the driver and passenger.

Issa R. Elhage, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with disregarding police signal to stop, felony hit and run and possession of marijuana. Andrea L. Cepeda Verde, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with possession of marijuana.
