Truck Crashes Into Building In Alexandria Area
Residents of one apartment unit are displaced after a truck crashed into the building.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A truck crashed into an apartment building at the 7200 block of Fairchild Drive in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County. Residents of the unit are displaced due to the accident.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the incident before 10 p.m. Friday. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck was pulled away from the building, and technical crews shored up the damaged area.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue have not released the cause of the accident. Patch will update this story when more information is available.
