Two Arrested for Alleged Assault, Robbery at 7-Eleven Parking Lot

Incident took place Wednesday night.

Fairfax County Police report that a man was assaulted and robbed in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store Wednesday night on Lockheed Boulevard.

The robbery took place in the 3100 block of Lockheed Boulevard Wednesday around 9:59 p.m., according to police.

The victim was in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven store and was approached by two men, police said. The suspects demanded money, assaulted the victim and fled, according to police.

The victim resisted but the suspects managed to take property prior to fleeing, police said. The victim incurred non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Responding officers were able to locate the suspects and arrested them. Arturo Taboada, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with robbery, preventing an emergency phone call and drunk in public.
