Here are the top stories in Norfolk today:

  1. Police are now looking for a man they say robbed a 7-Eleven in Norfolk late Tuesday evening. According to police dispatch, the call for the robbery came in around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at the 7-Eleven in the 3100 block of Azalea Garden Road in Norfolk. A preliminary investigation of the robbery revealed that a man entered the store and demanded money. There were no injuries reported. (WAVY.com)
  2. Several businesses along Norfolk's Colley Avenue experienced break-ins that their owners believe could have been related. According to Kim Keene, the owner of the Starving Artist Café, someone broke in around 3 a.m. Tuesday and stole hundreds of dollars in cash and alcohol. (wtkr.com)
  3. Residents and motorists near the Five Points intersection in Norfolk are advised of an upcoming resurfacing project in November. Chesapeake Boulevard between Hyde Circle and Green Street, including the Five Points intersection will be part of the resurfacing project which will reconstruct the concrete intersection with an asphalt surface.
