  1. Norfolk police have ruled the death of a woman found inside a burning home in August had been intentionally started. The victim, 69-year-old Leslie Vaughan, was found dead as firefighters responded to the house fire in the 3500 block of Somme Avenue. There was no suspect description or video shared with the release. Those with information in the case are asked to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 mobile app. (WAVY.com)
  2. With just three weeks to go until Election Day in Virginia, polls show a tightening race.
    Democrat Terry McAuliffe leads Republican Glenn Younkin by four, according to a new poll from the Wason Center for Public Policy at Norfolk State University. In August, their poll had McAuliffe with a nine-point lead, so it has shrunk in the last few months. Both candidates are making their final pushes to get voters on their side. (WTKR)
  3. High tide caused flooded roadways across Norfolk Monday, but neighbors in Ocean View say this happens every year. (13newsnow.com WVEC)
  4. There were minor injuries reported following a multi-vehicle crash in Norfolk Monday afternoon, in which an SUV landed on top of another vehicle in Colonial Ave. (WAVY.com)
  5. The 33rd Annual Fall Town Point Virginia Wine Festival is set to return to the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront on Oct. 16 and 17. (13newsnow.com WVEC)
