1. The COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic at the Military Circle Mall is one of the top-performing community vaccination sites in the entire state. Health leaders expect the numbers to go even higher once the Centers for Disease Control approve the COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11. (13newsnow.com WVEC)
2. Police responded to a shooting with reported injuries in Norfolk Tuesday afternoon. According to police dispatch, the call for a gunshot wound came in around 1:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Mahone Avenue. The scene has been cleared. (WAVY.com)
3. A Norfolk-based admiral has been nominated to be Vice Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff. According to a USNI News story, Adm. Christopher W. Grady has been nominated by the White House to serve in the number two position on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Grady is currently the commander of the Norfolk-based Fleet Forces Command and has been since February of 2019. (WAVY.com)
