  1. The Norfolk's Sheriff's Office will host a hiring event on Mar. 26 to search for new deputy sheriff recruits. The event will be held at the Norfolk Sheriff's Administration Building starting at 9:00 a.m. To apply, an individual must be older than 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and have a high school diploma or GED. Attendees will be required to wear face coverings. (WAVY.com)
  2. A Saturday morning shooting has left two people dead and three people injured in downtown Norfolk. The incident occurred at Chicho's Pizza Backstage in the 300 block of Granby Street. Devon M. Harris and Sierra M. Jenkins were pronounced dead following the shooting. (Norfolk Patch)
  3. A tugboat fire was reported at Colonna's Shipyard in Norfolk on Friday night. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Indian River Road and no injuries have been reported. It took crews more than an hour to control the blaze. (WAVY.com)
