Redskins' Name Offends More Than Half Of Native Americans: Study

A new study found that at least half of more than 1,000 Native Americans surveyed are offended by the Washington Redskins' team name and Native American mascots in general. The findings run counter to other surveys, including one conducted by the Washington Post, that found most Native Americans aren't offended by the Redskins name.

Capital Burger Brings Gourmet Burgers, Elevated Shakes To Reston

The French-onion style burger with caramelized onions, Wisconsin Grand Cru Gruyère and shallot aioli happens to be the signature dish of The Capital Grille, the venerable steakhouse on Pennsylvania Avenue in D.C. Discount grocery store chain Lidl is set to open a location in Springfield on Wednesday, Feb. 19. The newly-built location is the eighth Lidl store in Northern Virginia.

Teenager Injured In Baseball Bat Attack In Manassas: Police

The victim, a 16-year-old boy, reported to police that while he was walking in the area, several teenage boys approached him and one of the suspects struck the victim with a bat, while the other suspects punched him, the Prince William County Police Department said.
