Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder decided against kneeling in solidarity with players Sunday night in response to comments from President Trump slamming players for protesting during the national anthem. The Redskins released a two-paragraph statement that avoided referencing Trump and that was not signed by Snyder. Most Oakland Raiders remained seated during the anthem, but most Redskins stood, linking arms, but not kneeling for the most part.

Snake Bites Woman At Longhorn Steakhouse In Spotsylvania
MASSAPONAX, VA — A Fredericksburg woman was bitten by a small copperhead snake Sept. 12 just inside the Longhorn Steakhouse at 10012 Southpoint Parkway, according to multiple media reports. Rachel Myrick was hospitalized for several days and treated with anti-venom medication. She told WTOP she initially thought she had been stung by a bee until she reached down and saw the snake before shaking it off her.
