MILFORD, CT — Our first trek to a Hidden Gem in 2023 takes us to the banks of the Housatonic River. There, in the shadow of the Washington Bridge, on the Milford side, sits one of the more unique winter waterfront dining experiences in Connecticut.

Welcome to the Igloo Park at The Dockside Brewery. The Dockside is best known for its classic pub setting and outdoor, multi-deck dining experiences that can be accessed by land or by sea in the warmer months. The igloos add a dimension on one of the decks in the colder months.

The igloos are designed to provide a casual and "unique themed experience" with a sofa set and chairs or benches. The igloos have two heaters, but guests may still needs to dress warmly.
