CONNECTICUT — This week, we have an image of something we haven't seen for weeks in the Nutmeg State ...

... a puddle.

The water on the road was courtesy of some clouds that brought rain to the state Thursday and Friday. The image is from a spot east of the Connecticut River.

The state is under a several brush fire warning because of the prolonged dryness, so the drops were more than welcome.

The euphoria over precipitation seems to have hit another speed bump, however, with the next bout of rain (60 percent) not forecast until Tuesday by the National Weather Service.
