She proudly served as one of the first groups of women in the military for the U. S. Navy Waves in World War II.
He went on to serve for decades in the Milford Public School System where he was fondly known as Mr. Mike.
He was also active in many Madison organizations, including the Boy Scouts, the Madison Country Club, and Madison ABC.
She worked as a bank teller at Key Bank In Branford and loved spending time with her dad working at country fairs in New England.
She passed away unexpectedly June 19.
