ATLANTA, GA — Fireworks will be going off all over Georgia on the Fourth of July. Therefore, you'll probably want to check out one of the Atlanta area events below. Click on the community name below for more event information.

Weather forecasts call for a chance of rain and thunderstorms Tuesday, but the National Weather Service says the best chances for storms will be between noon and 6 p.m. By Tuesday night, the chance of rain is 30 percent, and that will most likely happen before 7 p.m., letting fireworks displays go off as planned.

Two years ago, Georgia lawmakers loosened the restrictions on what types of fireworks may be purchased and fired by residents. Now, bottle rockets, firecrackers, Roman candles and other fireworks are available for sale in the state, but cities or counties may impose their own limits on what hours you're allowed to shoot up the neighborhood, so it's best to check ahead of time.
