Middle-Schooler Charged With Murder

A 15-year-old middle-school student was pulled from class and charged with murder on Thursday. DeKalb County Police are not releasing the name of the suspect, who attended Lithonia Middle School, because of his age.

But his brother, 21-year-old Dewayne Honeycut, was arrested several days ago and also charged with murder. The charges stem from the January 12 shooting of a Gwinnett County man. >>> Read more.

Roswell Man Killed in Head-On Collision

A Roswell man was killed in a head-on collision with another vehicle on Thursday, authorities say.

John Cory Brown, 27, was driving west on Castleberry Industrial Drive, in Cumming, at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday when his vehicle was hit directly by another traveling east. >>> Read more.
